The Global Academy of Integrated Amatsu (GAIA)

Providing innovative education and training for Amatsu Practitioners

Global Academy of Integrated Amatsu (GAIA) has drawn from Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi's original teachings, the research of Dr Stephen Levin MD on Biotensegrity, Dennis Bartram’s interpretations and the extensive application of the GAIA tutors’ research. Our training courses use modules that comply with the National Occupational Standards which is the recognised standard for affiliation to Amatsu Therapy International. Enhanced by the exclusive and innovative learning materials of the GAIA.

Take your Amatsu training and qualifications to the next level with the GAIA Therapist Training Course.

What is Amatsu Therapy

Amatsu Therapy is a non-invasive whole body therapy with its roots in the teachings of Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi in the Hichi Buku Goshin-Jutsu Ryu (school of traditional Japanese medicine). Our Amatsu Practitioners are trained to evaluate, assess and treat the whole body incorporating all of the symptoms of illness or injury.

Why become a GAIA Therapist

GAIA Therapists use specific anatomical knowledge, palpating, orthopaedic and kinaesthetic progressive muscle testing to identify the most effective route to treatment. Therapists prioritise and engage the body's structures in such a fashion as to elicit a gentle, yet dynamic response. The goal is to promote the self-regulatory migration toward or to a complete return to homeostasis, neutral posture, recovery and wellbeing.

Train as an Amatsu Therapist with GAIA

At GAIA we offer the highest standards of teaching and have developed revolutionary teaching materials, developing both digital/online and in-person training to give the best learning experience. We are also consistently improving our assessment criteria and examination protocols. We place an emphasis on post-qualification training options and CPD for existing Amatsu Therapists.

ATI are very pleased to welcome GAIA as a recognised school. GAIA celebrates the wealth of knowledge, personalities and wishes to provide the best learning opportunities. This, leading to continued growth for all, is exactly what ATI have long strived for.

We are all very excited about this new and progressive relationship and look forward to building an Amatsu Community based on professionalism, community, sharing and a passion for Amatsu Therapy.”
